We are seeking a Technoeconomic Analyst with a degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline and 2+ years’ experience developing complex technoeconomic models to expand, maintain and operate their technoeconomic platform.
The role involves working closely with the R&D and engineering teams to provide a range of technoeconomic models suitable for early-stage feasibility studies up to later-stage innovation and commercial projects. Leilac is looking for a passionate and skilled R&D Engineer to join their Technology Development team. As an R&D Engineer, you will support and run technology development projects to enable the transition to a carbon-neutral world by providing a compelling decarbonisation solution for global cement and lime. You will be responsible for organizing and planning activities within small R&D projects and collaborating with technical team members to progress towards the project objectives.
To excel in this role, you should have 5+ years of experience in a project engineering role, particularly within an innovative industrial field. You should also have a mindset of leadership and ownership of activities, with a strong ability to take initiative and make decisions as necessary.
For Leilac’s US team, we are looking for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to perform detailed mechanical design of bespoke mechanical equipment for environments with elevated temperature. This person will support the engineering, design and development of the Calix calciner technology within the cement, lime and other industrial processing industries, forming a part of a collaborative team. Reporting to the Engineering Team Lead, the role can be based anywhere in the US.
In this role, it is key to have a thorough understanding of thermomechanical stress, thermal expansion, cyclical thermal loading, and an ability to calculate thermodynamics. You are experienced in detailed mechanical design, including specification of equipment requirements, equipment design and fabrication methods. After 5+ years of experience in detailed mechanical design, you are ready to join a purpose-driven business and be a part of the journey as Leilac establishes in the US.
To support the Pilot Plant Manager at our plant in Lixhe, Belgium, we are recruiting a Pilot Plant Engineer. This person will support safe operation and execution of any upgrade and optimisation projects, managing routine and as required maintenance and repairs including all required contractors and suppliers.
For this role, we are looking for someone with a mechanical engineering background and experience working on site with industrial engineering, operations or maintenance. This is a chance to join a purpose-driven business and be a part of its development and success.
Leilac is looking for a Pilot Plant Manager for its unique decarbonisation technology pilot plant located in Lixhe, Belgium. A fluent French speaker, the Pilot Plant Manager will be responsible for the operations and maintenance of the pilot plant and lead the operations. This role will also be responsible for ensuring safe execution of upgrade and optimisation projects, managing routine and as required maintenance and repairs including all required contractors and suppliers.
The right candidate will have on-site experience from cement or mineral processing plants, excellent project management skills, and a chemical or process engineering degree. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is interested in R&D and wants to be the part of a solution for a more sustainable cement production.
Are you a Mechanical Engineer with experience from heavy industry and high temperature environments? Join Leilac as our newest Project Engineer! In this role, you will be responsible for the execution of mechanical design and specification work. You will undertake thorough design reviews to ensure all areas of design are optimised with a practical, low-cost approach, and overseeing design interfaces.
This is an opportunity to work together with passionate and committed people, driven by their purpose of solving global sustainability challenges. The right candidate will likely have a degree in mechanical engineering and extensive experience in plant design, procurement, construction, and commissioning. This role is primarily home-based with about 25% traveling and can be based anywhere in the UK or France.
